“Swallow at The Hollow” (Tree Swallow)

While swallows are typically seen flying to catch insects, I chose a more intimate setting for this resting tree swallow. A hollow snag with recreated moss is home to this little songbird. I also tried to create compositional movement through the vine and branch made from metal. I’m pleased with the result in this original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
