My Eastern Collared Lizard and Rock- (all carved in wood with metal for reinforcement) won Best in Show Open/Professional Woodcarving Division at The 2023 Georgia National Fair Fine Arts Show in Perry, Georgia. I used a classic Renaissance composition to provide balance, focus, power, and presence to this beautiful reptile (the state lizard of Oklahoma).
