Chipmunk's Day

Here’s my new wall sculpture of an eastern chipmunk with carved acorn, oak base, and metal leaves. It won second place in animal woodcarving category open/professional division to my best in show lizard at The Georgia National Fair. I see these cute critters almost every day in my yard. Hopefully, capturing an animal’s essence will create a strong human connection, reminding us that we are all creatures sharing this earth.
