Night Owl

Although it has taken me over a year to finish, here is the unveiling of “Night Owl”, my latest saw-whet owl sculpture, carved from one piece of wood. I fabricated the metal coniferous branch from metal. The Northern Saw-whet owl is one of the smallest owl species in North America. It can be found in dense thickets, often at eye level, although they can also be found some 20 feet up. Saw-whets are often in danger of being preyed upon by larger owls and raptors. Northern saw-whet owls are also migratory birds without any strict pattern. Thanks for following my original wildlife woodcarving and sculptures! Have a wonderful day!
