Vermillian Flycatcher

I enjoyed creating this strikingly handsome songbird after a friend sent me photos of it. While the migrating bird is native to the Southwest, it has recently expanded its range spending winters in Georgia and Florida. I have added a flowering white vine to the composition, which I’ll be glad to send photos upon request. The base is hickory and black granite.
