Canada Warbler on Magnolia

After spending years trying to finish this wall-hanging composition, I’m very happy with the final result. I carved the Canada warbler, magnolia flower, and leaves all from wood. I silver-soldered metal to form the branch and connect everything. Also, I used apoxy to sculpt the magnolia pod as well as the buds. Then, I painted the original sculpture with acrylics, and then oils, giving different textures and sheens to the surfaces. Here are some more detail photos.
