“Family”

Carved from one large butternut log, which is hard to find anymore,  these life-size barred owl fledglings are huddled together for warmth and protection. I added glass eyes, moss, color, and a large black walnut base to compliment the beautiful natural finish grain of the butternut, also known as white walnut.
